| Beach Maintenance
– on going beach maintenance is required and a lot of
that is addressed through Beach Clean up day. However there
are conditions that exist that require more expertise.

RECLAMATION PROJECT: unfortunately Russo
Drive Beach number 1 has fallen into great Disrepair, an example
of what happens when maintenance is not kept up.
Russo Drive Beach 1 – repair and reclamation
project
- Removal of a partially rotten dangerous
big tree
- Tree, brush and stump removal from water
line
- Sinkhole/depression filled in
- Redefine beach area and reclaim and
add sand as needed
Course of Action
A)Members consider and review the proposal
B)Take the opportunity to walk the beaches coming up on Saturday
May 12th at 3:00, Russo Beach 1.
C) Association members, board and Beach Committee Members
should interact and discuss
D) Suggestions, ideas and thought should be considered from
all
E) A vote on whether to increase dues or have an assessment
should take place
F) Break down of estimates for project costs and the nature
of the project provided to Assoc. members
G) A full detailed Treasurers report will be provided to association
members
Additionally the issue of creating a sinking
fund for large capital expenses or emergency repairs should
be discussed.
Necessary Maintenance, repair and improvement
issues have been presented all of the issues presented are
ones that will need to be addressed. The priority of each
Issue should be determined by the Board and the Beach Committee,
where appropriate.
The issue of how to fund these necessary
and obligatory issues will be presented by the board and will
involve either.
- A requested increase in annual dues.
- An assessment for a period of three years
in addition to current dues
In either event the increase should be extremely
reasonable for the benefits it provides
In either case a vote of the association
members will be held to determine the course of action.
Any additional dues will be reasonable.
